The tiny Wimm One packs a big Android punch (pictures)

On the surface the $199 Wimm One is a highly capable smart watch running its own flavor of Android. Under the skin though are powerful components such as 2GB of RAM, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios, and support for third-party applications.

The Wimm One comes with many watch faces to choose from, which you pull up with a long tap of the touch screen.

One of my favorite watch faces on the Wimm One is one named Fahrenheit. It displays the time, date, and weather in an old-school digital readout.

Another of the Wimm One's watch faces that will draw eyes is one named Swinger. It surrounds a digital clock with colorful, flickering dots that constantly wink in and out.

Measuring a relatively small 1.26 inches tall by 1.4 inches wide by 0.49 inch thick, the Wimm One doesn't take up much space. It's a self-contained micro computer that's built to eventually fit into many accessories such as wrist bands, lanyards, belt clips, and maybe even keychains.

Besides the touch screen, the Wimm One's only other control is a small power button that sits on the device's right side.

One of the apps the Wimm One can run is a pedometer that tracks steps taken. The watch uses the internal accelerometer to do so.
