For your money, you get one indoor/outdoor Arlo Pro camera and a related Wi-Fi hub.
The camera itself is very similar to the original Arlo camera, which Netgear still sells for $180/£135.
The Arlo Pro streams live video in 720p HD.
It will send you notifications when it detects activity -- and add the related clips to your event log.
The Arlo Pro works with last-gen Arlo hubs.
If you don't already have an Arlo hub, you'll need to buy the new hub with the Pro.
This version has a built-in 100-decibel siren.
