The Panasonic TH-42PWD6UY is similar to the TH-42PA20U, but it lacks a built-in TV tuner andspeakers, includes a more basic remote control, and has a much lesscomprehensive input bay: just one VGA input, one A/V input with S-Video,and one component-video input (all with stereo audio). It uses BNC-typejacks, which require inexpensive adapters for connection to standardRCA-type cables. It does, however, feature an expansion slot that allowsyou to add another input, such as DVI, by installing optional modules.The two plasmas share the same panel technology and offer identicalpicture performance.
