Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE comes to Boost Mobile for $130

The prepaid carrier brings Android 4.4 KitKat and LTE speeds to the long-running Prevail family.

Look familiar? This latest Galaxy Prevail, an S 3 lookalike, comes with LTE. Samsung

Boost Mobile announced on Tuesday that it'll start selling the Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE, a speedier upgrade to past Prevail phones.

Looks familiar, doesn't it? The Prevail LTE borrows the same rounded body shape as Samsung's Galaxy S3 from two years back, but the innards are all configured for the prepaid carrier.

This Prevail runs Android 4.4 KitKat on a 4.5-inch WVGA display. Its processor is a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, and it houses a 5-megapixel camera on back. On the front, a 2-megapixel camera snaps your face. Charging cycles are dictated by the strength of its 2,000mAh battery.

If your storage needs surpass the 8GB space, you can expand up to 128GB. There's 1GB ROM. Callers make calls using HD Voice, a technology that Boost Mobile gets by way of parent network, Sprint.

You can buy the Prevail LTE in white, starting January 19, for $130 prepaid.
