Apple's latest "piece of cloth" -- the iPhone Pocket woven sling -- sure got people riled up online over its high cost when it debuted last week and sold out quickly worldwide. But this isn't the first time Apple has put some eye-popping price tags on its products.

Last week, I had some fun exploring Apple's $230 woven crossbody carrier, but the iPhone Pocket isn't a typical Apple accessory. Consider it more as collectible art in the form of fashion rather than a common tech tool. After all, it comes from the design studio of Issey Miyake in Japan, the same luxury fashion brand that sells a sweater vest for over $1,000 (and yes, it has a pocket!). Reading your comments on social media inspired me to offer a little perspective on how high Apple prices can really go.

In this week's episode of "One More Thing," which you can watch embedded above, I go through the top five most expensive Apple products you can buy right now -- and how wild it gets when you max out on all the upgrades.

It might make you wonder if anyone bought the fully decked out Mac Pro back in 2019 for more than $53,000. No wonder Apple came out with its own credit card that same year. (And just think, you would have gotten $1,590 cash back if you used Apple Card -- what a deal!)

But if you need some help saving money instead of blowing your life savings on a Mac, may I suggest reading up on CNET's guide to Apple gadgets on sale for Black Friday.
