On Monday, Activision posted a teaser trailer online to announce Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone will collaborate with the popular Netflix series Squid Game.

The 30-second video shows a Call of Duty character picking up a brown business card with the circle, triangle and square symbols from Squid Game on it. The card is similar to those handed to characters in the first season of the show when they were selected to take part in the chaotic games.

This crossover is scheduled for some time in January, but the trailer didn't show an exact date. Netflix is set to release Squid Game Season 2 on Dec. 26, so the collaboration could launch in early January to better align with the show's release date.

The trailer didn't reveal any details about the collaboration, either. Based on past collaborations between Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the WWE as well as the Amazon Prime series The Boys, there will likely be different character and weapons skins based on the Netflix show. These skins could be included in paid bundles or as free in-game rewards.
