The Samsung LS50H is a Wi-Fi speaker with spatial audio. Just look at this thing!

Samsung has unveiled its CES 2026 audio range. While an upgrade to its high-end soundbar, the new HW-Q990H was expected, the LS50H Wi-Fi speaker was a surprise. Here's what we know.

Music Studio speakers

The company has debuted two new Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 (LS50H) and Music Studio 7 (LS70H), the larger of which offers Dolby Atmos compatibility. Both boast distinctive looks from designer Erwan Bouroullec.

The LS70H is a 3.1.1-channel spatial audio speaker that can operate as a standalone speaker or be paired with compatible Samsung Wi-Fi speakers, soundbars or TVs. It features up to 24-bit/96kHz audio processing plus Bluetooth connectivity. The smaller LS50H features a 4-inch driver and two tweeters.

Dolby Atmos soundbars

Meanwhile, the HW-Q990H is an 11.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar, which includes surrounds and a dual 8-inch wireless subwoofer. The soundbar introduces several new features, including Sound Elevation, which raises dialogue toward the center of the screen, and Auto Volume, which ensures consistent volume across all channels.

The HW-QS90H model is a single-speaker soundbar with 7.1.2 channels. It features onboard subwoofers and boasts a Convertible Fit design with a built-in gyro sensor, which adjusts the sound signature according to wall-mounted or AV rack orientation.

Outlook

The soundbars follow the announcement of the company's new Micro RGB TVs and will be followed by plenty more products at CES. I have reviewed several of Samsung's high-end soundbars -- each one designed at Samsung Audio Lab -- and expect the Q990H to sound pretty decent. The Wi-Fi speakers are intriguing, too. I kind of want that Music Studio 5 (LS50H), just to stare at.

Availability of the speakers and soundbars are yet to be announced.Â
