Watch this: HTC One V

Cricket is certainly digging in with some top-flight phones for its prepaid network, first with the iPhone 4 and 4S, and now with the HTC One V, Cricket's first partnership with the Taiwanese handset-maker.

Originally seen at Mobile World Congress in February and released in the U.S. with Virgin Mobile and U.S. Cellular, the One V is one of the carrier's highest-end phones. It comes with a 3.7-inch screen, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, and a very fast 5-megapixel camera.

HTC's Sense 4 interface also adds Beats Audio and 25GB of free Dropbox integration for two years. The One V goes on sale for $269.99 on September 2 at Cricket stores, Cricket's Web site, and at the carrier's national retail partners.
