You know that list of apps you download as soon as you get a new entertainment device? Yeah, Plex has been on my list of apps I automatically download since I discovered it in 2020. There are pretty much no other media servers that do it quite like Plex. Easy UI, trustworthy track record, almost eerily smart features and a dedication to customer satisfaction over just making more money (at least historically). If you're the type that has many songs, audio files, movies and videos on a hard drive somewhere, Plex is the best way to get all of that to as many of your other devices as possible, and a Plex Pass makes all of this a smoother and more robust experience. However, Plex has realized that the value proposition for its Plex Pass is more than its current offering, and the prices will go up. Now's the time to seal the deal and get the Plex Lifetime Pass forever before the April 29 price increase.
