Netflix

A little over a week remains before Netflix livestreams its 2025 Tudum event from Los Angeles, but you can still make plans now for summer that include the streamer's entertainment lineup or themed food and drinks for your snack bar. Remember last year's popcorn drop?

For those in the mood for fancy refreshments, Netflix offers a collection of Bridgerton fare through Williams Sonoma like drink mixers, high tea goods and a branded cookbook. If you'd rather skip the mealtime stuff and look toward new releases coming to the platform, we're highlighting the biggest drops of the summer season on the streaming service below.

What to watch on Netflix this summer

Tudum: On May 31, the fan-centric event will broadcast live with host Sofia Carson to give you sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes looks and announcements about your favorite titles -- some new ones. The celebration will feature a performance by Lady Gaga, and appearances from the cast and teams behind Stranger Things, Wednesday, Frankenstein, Squid Game 3, Happy Gilmore, One Piece, Knives Out and more.

Fear Street: Prom Queen: The movie is the newest addition to Netflix's Fear Street anthology series and brings viewers back to 1988 at Shadyside High. Stream it on May 23.

Ginny & Georgia, season 3: Ginny and her mom will have lots more to unpack with Georgia in jail this season, and fans will want to share their own opinions on their relationship, Georgia's parenting skills and how things can get any worse. Tune in on June 5.

KPop Demon Hunters: Dropping on June 20, this animated film follows a group of K-pop singers who double as demon hunters charged with protecting the world.

Squid Game, season 3: It's the final season of the hit series, which will see Gi-hun and the other contestants fight for survival. Will he make it? And what will become of Front-Man? Season 3 debuts June 27.

The Old Guard 2: Charlize Theron returns in an action-packed sequel story about fighters who can heal and regenerate -- but learn they aren't completely immortal. The new film brings a new threat in Uma Thurman's character, who seemingly holds the key to mortality and immortality. Watch it on July 2.

The Sandman, season 2: Another series that's ending on Netflix, The Sandman will drop the first part of its second season on July 3, with the series-closing volume 2 hitting on July 24.

Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano: It's a rematch between the boxers who faced off during the Tyson vs. Paul event last fall. The women will square up again in a live event that streams on July 11.

Sakamoto Days: Part 2 of season one will air weekly episodes starting July 14, so don't miss the giant battle among three factions as you root for Sakamoto to get some peace.

Happy Gilmore 2: Adam Sandler in a jersey on a golf course could be the ultimate sign of summer. It's been a long time since fans have seen Happy on the scene, and he hits the Netflix green on July 25.

Wednesday, season 2: Nevermore Academy has more for Wednesday Addams, who will now be attending school with her younger brother Pugsley. We'll get to spend extra time with the family -- along with dangerous entities -- in this season's two installments. Watch part 1 on Aug. 3, and drop in on Sept. 3 for part 2.

The Thursday Murder Club: Adapted from Richard Osman's novel, this upcoming movie arrives on Aug. 28 with a star-studded cast that includes Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley. They play retirees who can't help but use their time to solve local capers, but it gets real when a murder happens in their orbit.
