In an earlier interview, Szulik said the company is having an easier time recruiting top executives such as Pinchev than in the manic dot-com years, when Red Hat's stock was vastly higher, stock options were less alluring, and employees changed jobs more frequently. "When you look at Red Hat three years ago, we couldn't recruit anybody. The market was hot," Szulik said.
