The Boys may be ending with season 5, but other stories in Prime Video's Supe-filled universe are just getting started.

The streamer announced on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con that it has greenlit a Boys spinoff prequel series, Vought Rising. The show will star Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, reprising their roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront from the popular satirical superhero show.

Other Boys spinoffs include Gen V, which is getting a second season in 2025, and the animated anthology series The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

In a statement, series showrunner Paul Grellong said Vought Rising is "a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought."

Season 4 of The Boys premiered its final episode last week. Check out CNET's finale recap and stay tuned for more updates from Comic-Con.Â
