Yahoo acquires BT content sites

Yahoo's European division announced Tuesday that it has acquired British Telecommunications' Dotmusic and Games Domain sites for an undisclosed amount. The acquisitions follow on the heels of a February agreement under which its content and services with BT's broadband product in the United Kingdom.

The acquisitions will give Yahoo Europe operational ownership over Dotmusic's music-related news and reviews site and Games Domain's content for video gamers.
